Fortnite Chapter 2 Season 8 aired a few weeks ago, adding a new set of challenges, exclusive skins, and, of course, a new Battle Pass.
The Punchcards are also back, and this week, players are challenged to complete Raven’s Punchcard and launch from a Corruption Vent in The Sideways.
We’ve compiled a list of everything you need to know, including how to find a Corruption Vent and complete the quest.
Find a Corruption Vent in Fortnite Season 8
One of Raven’s challenges asks you to launch from a Corruption Vent in The Sideways. As complicated as that might sound, it’s, in fact, pretty easy even if the launchpad isn’t marked or named on the map.
Luckily, there is a way to do that once you know what you’re looking for. Completing Raven’s Punchcard will get you 30,000 XP!
First, you should know that there are 2 ways to get to The Sideways. In each match, start by searching for those odd orange domes that cover a POI, known as Sideways Zones.
Once inside a Sideways Zone, be careful and look around for a bright orange circle on the ground. That’ll be your Corruption Vent!

Launch From a Corruption Vent
As previously said, the quest is quite simple! Once you get where you want, launching from a Corruption Vent is really easy. Just walk on top of it, and that’s it!
You’ll be launched in the air in the direction you got into the vent. Don’t worry, you won’t suffer any fall damage!
