Hogwarts Legacy – Is Romance with the NPCs Possible?

screenrant.com

Gamers have little trouble casting strong magic spells, but they could have a harder time getting romantic in Hogwarts Legacy.

Hogwarts is consistently shown to be a place where love develops throughout the original Harry Potter novels, however it’s unclear whether players’ characters may genuinely fall in love with NPCs in Hogwarts Legacy.

Then again, the wizarding world role playing game and, by extension, the many endearing witches and wizards that may be encountered within it, have a lovely environment, a completely customizable protagonist, as well as well-written characters.

Thus, curious pupils hoping to develop romantic relationships with their virtual crushes will want to know if this is feasible in Hogwarts Legacy.

The option would definitely make the story and the world even more intriguing and immersive.

It’s not an unreasonable request considering that there was romance in a prior Harry Potter game. Players in mobile game Hogwarts Mystery have the option to date the game’s several unique characters, after spending time with them and getting to know them a little bit better.

As a result, the question of whether there is romance in Hogwarts Legacy is legitimate given the much wider scope of Portkey Games’ most recent game.

The characters in Hogwarts Legacy cannot be romanced, much to the chagrin of some of the fans. In fact, even after completing all the side-quests directly related to Natsai, Poppy, and Sebastian, friendship is all that can be obtained.

It is possible to get closer to these companions through their linked relationship quests but nothing clearly romantic.

Even if it may seem tragic at first, it makes total sense in the framework of the game.

The primary protagonists in Hogwarts Legacy are fifth year students, making them roughly 15 years old; this might easily make the idea of romance unpleasant for gamers, particularly those who are already full-blown adults.

Having said that, it’s feasible that a later DLC may bring the romance from Hogwarts Legacy to life.

Such a feature may be included in the game if only wooing a character was restricted to positive interactions like holding hands or sharing a table at the Three Broomsticks.

It could even be a way to add Amortentia to the list of potions available in the game as well!

However, considering there are currently no DLCs planned for Hogwarts Legacy, gamers might have to wait a while for their Hogwarts love story to take shape.

Even if being “friend zoned” by the game’s endearing witches and wizards may frustrate some players, Portkey Games is right to assume that the lack of a romance element is due to the kids’ young ages.

It would not be wise to give up on Hogwarts Legacy romance altogether, though, since further DLCs or even game sequels may still provide the main character an opportunity to find love in the wizarding community.
