Despite never making a proper appearance in the game, this Hogwarts Legacy character is universally despised by all players!
The majority of witches and wizards in the magical role-playing game are at least tolerable if not really likable, but one Hogwarts Legacy character is absolutely intolerable despite never appearing in-game.
Unfortunately, these restrictions do not prevent the protagonist’s life from being invaded by this particularly unlikable personality.
It’s so bad sometimes that players are tempted to go out of their way to avoid running into this annoyance.
There are many morally reprehensible characters in Hogwarts Legacy who only serve to harm the wizarding community.
Poachers, for instance, are absolutely deplorable because they kill magical animals and capture them in order to sell the parts for a profit.
But somehow, even the most evil witches and wizards cannot match the worst character in Hogwarts.
Without further ado, the worst character in the game is none other than the creator of Floo Powder, Ignatia Wildsmith!
But almost no one in the school will be able to forget it because the immortalized witch never misses an opportunity to remind everyone of it.
Ignatia will comment on the usefulness of the player character’s Field Guide, inquire as to whether they’re going on an adventure, or emphasize the fact that travel was much more inconvenient before her invention every time players fast-travel to or even just pass by a Floo Flames location.
Ignatia Wildsmith is quickly portrayed as the worst character in Hogwarts Legacy by this dialogue, which was probably intended to be a humorous part of the game.
The fact that it’s not possible to disable or lower the frequency of Ignatia’s lines only makes the situation worse.
Fortunately, the most recent Hogwarts Legacy patch includes a “significant reduction” to her dialogue, as confirmed by Chandler Wood, community manager for Avalanche, on Twitter.
Just confirmed an additional feature in this patch that didn't make it into the patch notes:
-Reduced the frequency of Ignatia Wildsmith's lines (a significant reduction), so while travel is definitely more convenient with Floo powder, you won't have to hear about it constantly. https://t.co/aNTkZ2ViuG

However, while this is a promising beginning, a customizable setting would be a game changer.
Ignatia may actually be a decent witch who makes for pleasant company, but because of her voice lines’ excessive repetition, it makes total sense that players can grow impatient at one point or another.
