Due to its upcoming release, it has been confirmed that Hogwarts Legacy is compatible with Steam Family Sharing. Steam users may authorize up to five additional accounts to access their game library and play it with them. The ability to borrow digital versions from friends rather than forking out the cash to purchase a game outright makes titles like Hogwarts Legacy far more cheap for families with numerous players with similar interests.
Despite the controversy that threatens to engulf Hogwarts Legacy, it is still one of the most anticipated games of 2023. The buzz stems from the fact that it offers a solution to the problem faced by many Harry Potter fans: they never received an admission letter to Hogwarts in the mail.
Hello again, Kenjo! Hogwarts Legacy does support family sharing, so those using the feature should have access to the same content as you do. We hope this helps. We're here and happy to help if you need anything else!

In response to inquiries regarding the forthcoming release, WB Games Support verified that Hogwarts Legacy is compatible with Steam Family Sharing. All material from the Hogwarts Legacy Deluxe Edition and Early Access for individuals who pre-purchased Hogwarts Legacy will be available to those with access to shared libraries. Hogwarts Legacy Steam Family Sharing users must wait until the host’s library is not in use before they may play the game.
It’s also crucial to note that if a Steam user already owns the original game in their library, they won’t have access to any of the Hogwarts Legacy downloadable content that was shared with them via Steam Family Sharing, even if they borrow it. Sharing a library to play Hogwarts Legacy requires a constant internet connection, and the library’s owner will be given priority if they check in to play. People using the Steam shared library who are currently playing will have a few minutes to log out or purchase the game before Steam automatically kicks them.
