After just a few months following the much-anticipated release of the iPhone 13 series in countries throughout the globe, it’s no surprise that speculations and leaks about the next iPhone 14 series began to circulate on the internet almost soon after.
The form of the notch is one of the most talked-about aspects of the phone. In recent rumors, it has been stated that Apple would use a larger hole-punch in the iPhone 14. In contrast, according to a new report, the iPhone 14 model will do away with the notch form in favor of a “pill and hole” cutouts style. According to a freshly revealed schematic released on Weibo, the gadget will provide a more exact look at this design shift, indicating the real dimensions of the hole and pill shape. This is in line with other recent leaks.
According to 9to5Mac, a source on Weibo has posted more thorough schematics of iPhone 14 Pro or iPhone 14 Pro Max, which may be seen below. Additionally, a YouTube video by Jon Prosser, released on Saturday, included a link to the article. He claims that he has been managed to personally confirm that the schematic in question is genuine and exactly portrays the style that Apple will employ.
Apparently, Apple is pulling the notch’s elements and putting them directly to the display, reducing any wasted space that does not involve cameras or sensors. This eliminates any unnecessary waste space. Previously this year, expert Ross Young revealed Apple’s intentions for a hole-and-pill design, which was later confirmed. According to the source, Apple was intending to adopt a basic hole-punch design, which was in direct conflict with prior reports that stated the opposite.
The dual hole punch design on the iPhone Pro models will be seen on all 4 models in 2023. Hopefully the holes will get smaller…
