as well as concerns that the full-screen design of the SE 4 will lead to an increase in higher costs/selling prices. As a result, Apple may need to reconsider the product positioning and return on investment for the SE 4.— 郭明錤 (Ming-Chi Kuo) (@mingchikuo) December 21, 2022
As a result, the tech giant based in Cupertino may need to “reconsider the product positioning and return on investment” for the much-awaited iPhone SE 4. And based on Kuo’s observations, the full-screen design Apple has in mind for the iPhone SE 4 may result in higher expenses and selling prices. Quite unexpected, right?!
Moreover, Kuo said that cutting wasteful product development expenditures could as well support Apple in overcoming the “challenges of the global economic slump in 2023.” So, every step that Apple chooses has, in fact, a reason and an effect.
After the mini-sized iPhone 12 and iPhone 13 models had weak sales, Apple terminated the 5.4-inch iPhone series. Rumors also suggest that the more cheap iPhone 14 Plus has seen less than anticipated sales. But there’s more than that.
By delaying the creation of the iPhone SE line or using less expensive components that would enable a lower price point than the anticipated design revisions, Apple might instead concentrate on its flagship iPhones in 2023 and 2024.
