Back in late March, the iQOO Z7 compact and powerful phone was launched, proving to many once again that a smartphone doesn’t necessarily have to be large in order to feature amazing specs. The Vivo iQOO Z7 stands out for its main 64MP camera, the MediaTek Dimensity 920 processor, and more.
The ‘Pro’ variant of the iQOO Z7 is now in the works, and thanks to GSMArena, we also know that it has a launch date. Therefore, those willing to get their hands on the upcoming device will have very little time to wait, as the phone launches in a matter of weeks.
iQOO Z7 Pro launches on August 31
iQOO has announced the launch of the iQOO Z7 Pro in India, which will take place on the last day of August, building upon the success of the earlier iQOO Z7 models. The revealed image showcases the layout of the phone, with volume controls and a power button positioned on the right side.

Notably, the lack of a fingerprint reader suggests the Z7 Pro will feature an AMOLED display with an embedded fingerprint scanner, similar to its predecessor. Teasers have hinted at 5G support and a curved display featuring a punch-hole camera design. A curved display grants a much more modern design compared to a usual flat screen, and perhaps nobody can deny that.
We can also expect the iQOO Z7 Pro to feature a battery reaching at least 4,500mAh, and a minimum of 6GB of RAM. Those are the specifications of the non-Pro variant, which means that we can’t expect less from its successor.
While details about the iQOO Z7 Pro remain limited, iQOO is expected to unveil more about the Z7 Pro at its launch date, so stay tuned!
