Fortnite is said to welcome the Latino superstar J Balvin soon! After the successful Rift Tour featuring the pop superstar Ariana Grande, Epic Games seems ready for another musical experience.
However, this time around, we won’t get a concert, but some cool cosmetics. The Prince of Reggaeton is expected to arrive as an actual skin.

J Balvin Fortnite Skin: Launch Date
Back in 2020, J Balvin made his debut for the first time in Fortnite with his sleek Halloween-themed performance. The event was dubbed The Afterlife, and it was really a hit, bringing Fortnite players and Balvin’s fans closer.
As a reward, The Afterlife event came with a fantastic alternate style for the Party Trooper skin. Unfortunately, players couldn’t look like J Balvin. The singer wasn’t available as a skin.
But that’s about to change.
Following the latest v17.40 update, popular tipsters DrCacahuette and HYPEX found a J Balvin skin that is set to debut with three various styles. How great is that?
Unfortunately, if you didn’t collect the original Party Trooper skin style, you might not be able to grab the new cosmetics. The new skin is an actual representation of the singer.

Epic Games Hints at a New J Balvin Skin
It might come as a huge surprise, but Epic Games has started to join in on the fun after HYPEX’s tweet. That means the J Balvin skin is on its way to the island!
As you can see below, Epic posted on the official Fortnite’s Twitter account a sneak peek of what seems to be the singer’s skin:

The image offers a simple yet blatant tease: J Balvin’s insignia. Despite no official air date of the new skin bundle, we can expect it somewhere at the end of this Fortnite season.
Some sources hint at September 12 as the official release date of J Balvin’s skin in Fortnite. However, Epic didn’t confirm a thing yet, so it’s better if we take everything with a pinch of salt!
