Are you looking for a tablet? Are you stuck between the Lenovo Tab P11 Pro And The Samsung Galaxy Tab S7? We will show you a quick comparison between the two so you can make a choice!
Let’s start with the prices. The cheapest Samsung Galaxy Tab S7 model, with 6GB RAM and 128GB storage, will set you back $650. An S Pen stylus is included in the price.
The most affordable Lenovo Tab P11 Pro has 4GB of RAM and 128GB of storage, and it will set you back $500.
However, if you want to get the Lenovo Precision Pen 2, you will have to pay an extra $70.
Keep in mind that prices can vary significantly according to the region you are in.
Design-wise, both tablets have whole metal bodies and return a very premium feeling.
The build quality is fantastic.
The P11 Pro is 5.8mm thick, being 5mm thinner than the S7. Some may say that the difference is noticeable.
Neither of the two has a headphone jack, but both feature a USB C 3.2 port, meaning that you can attach USB C hubs and external monitors.
In both cases, there is a built-in fingerprint scanner on the power button.
Both tablets have the option to expand storage via a microSD card.
As for the speakers, both tablets have four speakers in total. There are two of them on the short sides.
There is little difference between the two, as they both return a pleasant audio experience.
As for the camera setup, both tablets have an 8MP webcam, 13MP primary camera on the rear, plus a 5MP wide-angle sensor. The photo quality is also similar, but it’s worth noting that selfies look a bit better on the Lenovo. The two back cameras of the Samsung have an overall better performance in daily use situations.
Next to the Lenovo webcam, there is an IR camera that lets you unlock it via facial recognition.
That can work in tandem with the fingerprint scanner for some extra security.
The Samsung tablet also features facial recognition, but it doesn’t have an extra sensor, meaning that it can be less secure in some cases.
If you are looking for a tablet to replace a laptop, you may be happy to learn that both devices have dedicated keyboard covers. They look very similar, but we feel like the Samsung keyboard is a bit more stylish. Still, that is very subjective.
One of the very significant differences between the two tablets is the screen.
Samsung is popular for its AMOLED screens, but the Tab S7 has an 11-inch LCD, which is a bit disappointing.
The P11 Pro features an 11.5-inch OLED panel.
OLED screens typically return better performance than regular LCDs.
Blacks look more dynamic on the Lenovo, while the Tab S7 has some washed or greyed-out blacks at times.
However, in direct comparison, the S7 appears much brighter.
Another big difference is sharpness, though both devices have the same 2560 x 1600 pixels resolution. The Tab S7 screen appears much sharper, as the icons and text on the P11 Pro appear a bit fuzzy. The difference becomes more apparent when you put the two tablets side to side.
The Samsung tablet has a 120Hz screen that makes animations and transitions look smoother and more natural compared to the Lenovo 70Hz OLED.
