The 2.0.0 update for Mario Kart 8 goes live
According to NintendoLife.com, Wave 1 of the Booster Course Pass is now live for the Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, and it brings along the 2.0.0 Update for the Deluxe version of the game. The publication also reveals the patch notes of the new update.
The update doesn’t bring many things to the game, but it’s still worth mentioning. Let’s dive right into detail:
Adding support for DLC
- It offers support for Mario Kart 8 Deluxe – Booster Course Pass (Wave 1:8 courses)
- All players can select a pass course if somebody from the lobby has the “Booster Course Pass”
- During online gameplay, players can select course from the Booster Course Pass
Fixed issues
- No more communication errors when 12 players are matching during online gameplay
- Overall gameplay experience got improved
General
- Less time needed for an Item Box to regenerate after it gets taken
