Hogwarts Legacy’s Complete List of Merlin Trials
First things first, let’s take a look at the Hogwarts Legacy Merlin Trials:
- South Sea Bog hosts two Merlin Trials.
- In Forbidden Forest, you’ll find three Merlin Trials.
- Located in the North Ford Bog are four Merlin Trials.
- At Marunweem Lake, you may find four Merlin Trials.
- The North Hogwarts Region hosts five Merlin Trials.
- Clagmar Coast hosts five Merlin Trials.
- Manor Cape hosts five Merlin Trials.
- Cragcroftshire hosts five Merlin Trials.
- Located in Hogsmeade Valley are five Merlin Trials.
- Poidsear Coast hosts ten Merlin Trials.
- The South Hogwarts Region hosts fifteen Merlin Trials.
- Located in the Feldcroft Region are sixteen Merlin Trials.
- In Hogwarts Valley, you’ll find sixteen Merlin Trials.
The Trials of Merlin quest must be completed before the first Merlin Trial may be unlocked. Nora Treadwell, a witch, emerges at Lower Hogsfield after you encounter Natty in the story. She may be approached to begin the quest. Once you locate the Merlin Trial and continue with the Merlin Trials quest, you will begin to understand the puzzle’s requirements.
Are you ready to embark on an adventure?! Let’s begin with the Hogwarts Legacy Merlin Trials, which are the most difficult.
Hogwarts Valley Region Merlin Trials
- To reach Brocburrow, you must use Depulso to launch the massive rock into the cup. The boulder in Bombarda has to be unlocked.
- You must touch each stone block without contacting the earth in the area east of Brocburrow. Sure, you can use the broom for that.
- To get three batches of butterflies, use Lumos west of Brocburrow. Then, stuff them into the totems. Neat!
- Confringo should be used to light three cauldrons at the river south of Central Hogwarts Valley.
- In the hilly West Hogwarts Valley, place each of the three sets of five balls on one of the three plinths using Wingardium Leviosa.
- In the ruins of the castle to the south of West Hogwarts Valley Floo, use the basic cast to shoot the balls.
- Arrange the three pairs of five balls onto the three pedestals using Wingardium Leviosa, located on the right side of the West Hogwarts Valley floo. How nice!
- The three little sculptures in the far west of North Southsea Bog may be repaired using Repairo.
- To reach the Mine’s Eye, go to your right, and you’ll see a big boulder; to get to it, push it down the hill.
- Start by setting fire to the three braziers located south of The Mine’s Eye.
- Using Depulso, move the boulder across the bridge at Keenbridge.
- Using Lumos, lure three pairs of butterflies north-west north-west of Keenbridge and then push them into the totems.
- Get off the ground by jumping on the stone totems in South East Keenbridge.
- You’re in West of Keenbridge so that means avoiding contacting the floor as you jump down the totems. Great!
- Next, North Keenbridge will have you use Confringo to destroy the enormous totems.
South Hogwarts Region Merlin Trials
- You have to finish the first Merlin trial in 90 minutes after starting the main plot.
- To get three groups of butterflies, use Lumos to lure them to the totems west of Hogwarts Castle. Then, push them into the totems.
- To begin the Merlin Trial at Hogsmeade Station, ignite the three braziers on fire with Confringo.
- To complete the Merlin Trial in Hogsmeade Station 2, you must use the basic cast to break the stone balls.
- Hogsmeade Station 3 will have you avoid hitting the floor as you leap between the stone pillars.
- The fourth station in Hogsmeade requires you to use Lumos to entice three pairs of butterflies, which you may then force into the totems.
- To get the massive rock into the cup, use Depulso, which is located south of Hogwarts Castle.
- On the Quidditch field to the west of Hogwarts, you’ll need to use Depulso to launch the massive boulder into the cup.
- Wingardium Leviosa may be used to transfer a trio of five balls onto three plinths in Aranshire.
- Send the massive stone into the cup in Aranshire 2 with Depulso.
- Aranshire 3 will have you put three groups of butterflies into the totems by attracting them with Lumos.
- Depulso may be used to hurl the massive boulder into the cup in Aranshire 4. To access the boulder, you must use Bombarda.
- To the west of Lower Hogsfield (near), on three plinths, place all three sets of five balls using Wingardium Leviosa.
- Use Confringo to smash the big rocks north of Central Hogwarts Valley Floo for this Merlin trial.
- Use Confringo to smash the big rocks west of Lower Hogsfield (the hills) in this Merlin trial.
Feldcroft Region Merlin Trials
- Float on all the pillars in North Feldcroft without hitting the ground.
- Get the three totems west of the West Valley floor, next to an Ashwinder tent, to have their logos flipped so they match.
- In the rear of the bandit camp, on the West Hogwarts Valley floor, use Confringo to destroy five totems.
- Confringo may be used to demolish the big pillars, one of which is concealed beneath vines west of the North Feldcroft Floor.
- To set fire to the three braziers, go to the north-west of Rookwood Castle.
- Use a basic cast to bring down nine rock balls north of Rookwood Castle.
- The broom may be used to bounce off the stone columns in the river west of Rookwood Castle.
- The massive rock on the right side of the South Feldcroft Floo has to be knocked down the slope and into the cup.
- To the left of the South Feldcroft Floo, use Confringo to destroy the five beach pillars.
- Feldcroft Catacom will have you use Confringo to knock down the five massive pillars.
- You need to fix three statues north of the Felcroft Floo.
- To the right of Feldcroft, within the crumbling castle, use a basic cast to smash the rock balls.
- To get three batches of butterflies, use Lumos in the far right of Feldcroft Catacomb. Then, stuff them into the totems.
- Confringo the five massive pillars at the far right of Feldcroft Catacomb.
- Find the rock balls within the remains of the castle in Irondale, then use a basic cast to destroy them.
- Find three braziers in Irondale and light them. Among them is one that is concealed in the river.
Poidsear Coast Merlin Trials
- In the first Poison Ear Castle mission, lure three pairs of butterflies with Lumos and shoo them into the totems.
- In the second Poidsear Castle mission, use Confringo to knock down the big pillars on the shore.
- In the ruins and environs of the third Poidsear Castle mission, you must utilize Wingardium Leviosa to transfer the three sets of balls to their respective plinths.
- To make the symbol blocks in the fourth Poidsear Castle mission match on both the top and bottom, you may use Flippendo.
- Before lowering the braziers into the water pits, light them on fire north of Poidsear Castle.
- At North Poidsear Coast Floo, you’ll need to use the broom to deflect the water’s stone pillars.
- To get the big rock inside the cup in the North of South Poidsear Floo, you’ll need Wingardium Leviosa.
- To get three batches of butterflies, use Lumos to lure them east of Poidsear Castle. Then, stuff them into the totems.
- Transfer the massive rock into the cup at Marunweem Bridge using Wingardium Leviosa.
- Three sculptures north of the Marunweem Bridge need repair. Hidden up the hill behind you is one.
Hogsmeade Valley Merlin Trials
- In this Merlin Trial in East Hogsmeade Valley, you must use Confringo to set fire to three cauldrons.
- Using Confringo, smash the big rocks in Upper Hogsfield to complete the Merlin challenge.
- Using Lumos, lure three pairs of butterflies to Falbarton Castle and then push them into the totems.
- In this Merlin test in Falbarton Castle 2, you must roll the large boulder down the hill.
- To complete the Merlin challenge to the east of Hogsmeade, you must use Lumos to entice three groups of butterflies, which you must then place in the totems.
North Hogwarts Region Merlin Trials
- At the Korrow Ruins, you’ll find a Merlin Trial that asks you to fix four sculptures.
- The second Korrow Ruins trial requires you to use Confringo to light three bowls on fire; one of these bowls is hidden under vines on a tower.
- Just south of Jackdaw’s Tomb is a trial where you have to utilize Flippendo to sync up the icons on the top and bottom blocks.
- In this Forbidden Forest Floo challenge, you must use the basic cast to destroy all of the balls.
- In this Merlin challenge located south of The Collector’s Cave, you must guide the blue butterfly into the little totems using Lumos.
- The Merlin Trials at Cragcroft Shore Beach in Cragcroftshire
- Destroy the balls at Cragcroft Shore Beach with simple casting.
- On the far right side of Cragcroft Shore, near a Kneazle den, there is a bandit camp. To get inside, use Lumos to lure three pairs of butterflies and then push them into the totems.
- On Cragcroft Shore, use Confringo to knock down the five massive pillars.
- At Cragcroft, begin with the highest brazier and ignite all three using Confringo.
- Towards the far right of Cragcroft, at the end of the land, use the broom to reach every one of the stone pillars.
Merlin Trials at Manor Cape
- Use Confringo to the five massive pillars at Henrietta’s Hideaway.
- Get the braziers going at West Manor Cape before you go into the water basins.
- South West Manor Cape Floor is where you have to move the massive rock up the hill and dip it into the cup with Wingardium Leviosa.
- Use Lumos to entice three pairs of butterflies and shoo them into the totems far south of West Manor Cape.
- Manor Cape Beach is where you have to match the top and bottom symbols by inverting the blocks with Flippendo.
The Merlin Trials at Clagmar Coast
- Using Lumos, lure three pairs of butterflies to the North Clagmar Coast and then push them into the totems.
- Destroy the balls in the first Clagmar Castle mission using a basic cast.
- The second Clagmar Castle mission will have you match the top and bottom symbols by inverting the blocks with Flippendo.
- In the third Clagmar Castle mission, use Confringo to knock down the five massive pillars.
- Use Repairo to repair the three little sculptures in the fourth Clagmar Castle mission.
North Ford Bog Merlin Trials
- In order to cover each stone block with vines in this Merlin Trial at Pitt-Upon-Ford, you must hop on top of them without touching the ground.
- You must use Confringo on each of the five blocks, some of which are concealed by vines, in this Merlin Trial near the North Ford Bog Floo.
- Using Wingardium Leviosa, guide the massive ball into the vine-encircled cup in this Merlin Trial located in East North Ford Bog.
- Using Flippendo, you must align each of the icons on the upper and lower blocks in a cemetery next to San Bakar’s tower such that they form a matching set.
Marunweem Lake Merlin Trials
- Move the big rock into the cup at Marunweem Lake with Wingardium Leviosa.
- For Marunweem, hop on the dock’s rocks. For whatever reason, this is not the place to use the broom.
- At Marunweem Ruins, lure three pairs of butterflies with Lumos and shoo them into the totems.
- Using Flippendo, align the symbol blocks on top and bottom beside the Thestral den in the Tower Tunnel.
Merlin Trials in the Forbidden Forest
- For this Merlin task, light the three bowls ablaze with Confringo at Jackdaw’s Tomb.
- To complete the mission at North Ford Bog Entrance Floo, you must land safely on each of the stone blocks by jumping on them.
- To complete this Merlin task in the West Forbidden Forest, you’ll need to guide three groups of butterfly totems using Lumos. Hidden beneath vines and rocks are two separate groups.
South Sea Bog Merlin Trials
- In the far south, as seen in the image above, is the North-South Sea Bog floo.
- Attract three pairs of butterflies with Lumos and shoo them into the totems in North-South Sea Bog.
