Microsoft’s video conferencing app is once again going through some changes – Teams has been updated to version 1416/1.0.0.2022363703, and you can already download and install the APK. There are even four download options to choose from, and all of them require at least Android 7 running on your phone.
The new Microsoft Teams 1416/1.0.0.2022363703 version brings the possibility of deleting and renaming files in a channel and also in the OneDrive folder for Teams.
A lot of teachers and students started to use Microsoft Teams during the pandemic lockdown, and there’s no wonder why. The app is specially designed for both smartphones and larger displays as well, in order to provide a pleasant and useful experience for those willing to manage their businesses through video conferences.
Here’s what the Google Play Store has to say about Microsoft Teams:
Whether you’re on a conference call with teammates about a project you are working on or a video chat with friends and family planning a weekend activity, Microsoft Teams helps bring people together so that they can get things done. It’s the only app that has chats, video calls, meetings, files, tasks, and calendar in one place.
The app has been downloaded over 100 million times from the official Android marketplace, and surely many more people will keep downloading and using it.
A person can join a Microsoft Teams call even as a guest, meaning without having to create an account. That’s possible if the one who wants to join receives an invite link through mail or direct message. By accessing it, he can instantly join the ‘party.’
On Microsoft Teams, calls are even done in a secure way, so there’s no need to worry too much about possible ‘intruders.’
