We haven’t even updated the second portion of Caves and Cliffs, but Mojang seemed to have planned ahead of the Minecraft experience. The next major upgrade, named ‘The Wild,’ will be released in the 2022 block construction sandbox.
This latest version claims Mojang wishes to honor the surroundings of Minecraft by clarifying some of its biomes. One example was the biome of the Birch Forest, which doesn’t really work. The upgrade on the Wilds would revitalize the bioma, enabling the trees to spread, and more flowers that will have large surfaces to cover. Finally, one of the most monotonous biomes of Minecraft has some soul.
The upgrade will also bring a fresh new Mangrove Swamp region, a section of the universe with a novel breed of mangroves wood, a mud component that allows you to construct boulders, chest boats, and a unique frog swarm.
There are additional modifications in the Deep Dark biome. Initially promised for the Caves and Cliffs release, Mojang has since delayed it to launch as part of The Wilds update, but it seems worth the wait. In the previous Minecraft Live we saw it sneakily, but only a creepy subterranean cave biome. Mojang revealed that the biome is not simply a cave, but a wrecked civilization full of valuables in abandoned towns. The Deep Dark movement also allows us time to gather the confidence in the face of the underground creatures to our dreadful buddy the Warden.
“You can actually play in the mud without being told off! You’ll find mud blocks in swamp biomes, but why not make your own, just add water to dirt! Mud has other uses too; let it drip dry to make clay, or add sand and wheat into the mix to craft clay bricks!” announced the tweet posted on the official Minecraft account.
