The Pokemon world never runs out of ideas when it comes to bringing us more of those powerful pocket monsters. Trainers surely have more reasons to be excited, as the old saying “Gotta catch ’em all!” never gets old.

New Pokemon are now awaited in the famous augmented-reality game Pokemon GO, according to ComicBook.com. The upcoming Power Plant event will make it possible for players of the game to be on the lookout for new additions in terms of Pokemon. The event will launch later this week.

Niantic confirms the arrivals of Helioptile and Helioisk

Niantic, the company in charge of developing and publishing Pokemon GO, confirms the arrival of both Helioptile and Helioisk in the game during the Power Plant event. Both are dual-type Electric/Normal Pokemon, and they were introduced in the famous franchise during Generation VI.

Other Pokemon will also appear in the wild along with the additions of Heliptile and its evolved form, Helioisk. However, the other Pokemon arriving are much more known to you if you’re a Pokemon fan: Magnemite, Jolteon, Voltorb, Electabuzz, Grimer, Trubbish, and Porygon. The majority of these are Electric-type from the first generation of Pokemon.

During the Power Plant event, other Pokemon will appear in raids: Pikachu, Beldum, Shinx, Blitzle, Klink, Scyther, Typhlosion, Mawile, Dewgong, Piloswine, Monferno, and Druddigon.

It’s nice to see that Pokemon GO keeps giving a lot of credit to the first generation of the franchise, as that was the foundation of the rest of what happened, whether we’re talking about video games or animes related to Pokemon.

Remember the days when everybody thought that there were only 150 Pokemon in the world? Those days are far gone!

Feel free to tell us if you’re happy about the new additions in Pokemon GO!
