A new life simulation game appropriately called Life by You, which had been teased for a few weeks, was finally officially unveiled by Paradox Interactive!
If you notice resemblances to The Sims, you’re not alone, and it shouldn’t come as a surprise.
Tectonic studio is creating the game, and Rod Humble is in charge of it.
Humble is well-known for his significant contributions to The Sims series and Second Life.
On September 12, the game will become available in early access on the Epic Games Store and Steam for PC. There are currently no other platforms in the works.
Check out the game’s first official trailer below, along with some significant features the developers have chosen to tease!
– No loading screens – This will allow players to simulate life and create unique storylines in an open world.
– Real language conversations between characters.
– Use cars, bicycles, skateboards and other vehicles. Find and finish quests to open up new experiences.
– Using mods, you can create your own in-game content thanks to having access to various deep Creator Tools the devs themselves used to make the game in the first place! The way you change the game and the world, it’s all up to you.
– Place your characters where they belong by dragging and dropping them or by driving them in third-person mode.
– Live a single life or share many stories.
– Ascend the career ladder while playing active jobs – no more rabbit holes!
– Fall in love and raise a family!
– Jump years into the future!
– Create your own world by constructing the ideal residences or businesses for your human inhabitants. From the inside to the outside, furnish them. Towns can be moved, destroyed, and reorganized.
– Make fully individualized humans: In the Human Creator, create your families and include complex personality and character traits. You can always change how you want to look like.
– The game’s customization features will allow for a lot of freedom of expression and real language conversations, according to Rod Humble, general manager of Paradox Tectonic.
During a press release, Humble shared that “Life by You evolves the whole life simulation genre with a modern style, real language conversations, and unprecedented freedom of expression. The game’s customization tools allow for unparalleled storytelling, and I cannot wait to see what kind of creations players come up with when they dive into Early Access this summer.”
