The launch event is highly anticipated, and we can expect that the phone will feature an updated Qualcomm chipset compared to its predecessor, the Red Magic 8 Pro. At the same time, rumors suggest the use of the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 2 platform, which is the same chipset that appears in the top-end Samsung Galaxy S23 series. No official confirmation has been revealed yet.
Interestingly, there have been whispers about a potential Nubia gaming tablet, but no concrete details are out regarding its release. As for the Red Magic 8S Pro, the main difference is expected to be the chipset, while other specifications like the large 6.8″ AMOLED display, under-display selfie camera, 16 GB RAM, and fast charging capabilities should remain similar to the Red Magic 8 Pro.
