Although there’s still no sign of Saitama having to face Superman or Dragon Ball’s Son Goku, we’ll surely get to feast our eyes on the legendary One Punch Man during Season 3 as well. Saitama is up for interesting stuff, which means that the next season will surely keep many fans tied to their chairs.
Thanks to Anime Geek, we now know that Season 3 of One Punch Man is in the works. The information was provided by the One Punch Man manga artist Yusuke Murata, to be more precise. The upcoming season is currently in the production phase, meaning that there’s surely plenty more to wait until it comes out.
Season 2 of the anime TV show ended in July 2019 with the ‘Cleaning Up the Disciple’s Mess’ episode that showcased the battle between Garou and his former master, Bang. The Monster Association brought a new major threat. It was clear to everyone at the end of the episode that the show could have plenty of exciting continuations along with a new season.
We can expect a lot from One Punch Man in the future, but not that it can run out of ideas.
More focus on the Neo Heroes Saga
We can expect from Chapter 170 of the One Punch Man manga to begin the work on the Psychic Sisters arc of the Neo Heroes Saga. This opens up the path for plenty of possible plots.
There’s a chance that Season 3 for One Punch Man lands next year or in 2024, but there’s no official word just yet.
The anime’s storyline sounds like this, via IMDb:
In a world of superhuman beings, Saitama is a unique hero, he can defeat enemies with a single punch. But being just one hero in a world filled with them, his life is empty and hollow: he gets no respect from anyone, he displays a laidback attitude to everything and for the most part, he finds his overall hero life pointless… and worst of all, he lost his hair due to intense training. These are the adventures of an ordinary yet extraordinary hero.
The One Punch Man anime has had 25 episodes so far.
