As we’ve written in a previous article, the upcoming N200 5G smartphone manufactured by OnePlus will be among the cheapest 5G gadgets on the market. But can it be the cheapest ever? The phone deserves an investment if you’re not too pretentious when it comes to mobile devices, as it packs a 90Hz display and a generous battery life, just to say the least.
According to The Verge, OnePlus has just revealed a few more details about the N200 5G model, as well as a photo of the device to PCMag. While the gadget looks pretty and with some interesting capabilities, its price represents by far the most notable aspect.
OnePlus N200 5G will cost less than $250
OnePlus CEO Pete Lau is the one who brings the big news: the N200 5G model will be purchased at prices less than $250, making it one of the cheapest 5G devices. While speaking in an email interview for PCMag, Pete Lau said:
From the premium and ultra-premium OnePlus 9 series to the OnePlus Nord N200 5G–our newest and most affordable 5G device ever–we’re providing more choices and easier access to 5G for our users,
OnePlus wrote in an official blog post the following:
OnePlus is committed to making the 5G experience more accessible than ever, and the OnePlus Nord N200 5G is a testament to that commitment. We believe that the N200 5G will allow more users to enjoy the fast and smooth OnePlus 5G experience.
According to GSMArena.com, Motorola One 5G Ace is priced at $199.99, making it cheaper than the N200 5G model from OnePlus. Therefore, the N200 5G is not the cheapest phone equipped with 5G, but it’s surely one of the cheapest.
