We have already got our hands on some information regarding the specs of the Oppo A58 5G, and we must say that we’re pretty impressed. However, there’s still a lot more information that we need to know.

Cameras
We know about the Oppo A58 5G that it will feature a secondary camera sensor of 108MP, which is amazing! No other info is available about the cameras of the upcoming device. As for the main cameras of the iPhone 14, they’re significantly improved compared to those mounted on the previous iPhone 13. iPhone 14 has a dual camera setup on the rear consisting of two lenses of 12MP each, while important and powerful features are also there.
RAM and storage
Oppo A58 comes in various RAM and storage versions, like most smartphones out there. The phone can have 6 or 8GB of RAM, while it can have 128GB or 256GB of storage. Those options aren’t bad at all, although a 512GB variant is practically mandatory for a phone that has at least 6GB of RAM.
iPhone 14 has the same storage options but also one of 512GB. As for the RAM memory, Apple’s device comes in only 6GB versions.
Processor
Oppo’s upcoming device will run on a MediaTek Dimensity 700 processor that’s also capable of 5G connectivity. That’s certainly a good component, although there are plenty of chipsets out there that are better.
As for iPhone 14, the new flagship of Apple runs on the new A16 Bionic chipset, which is superior to the A15 Bionic that was present on the previous iPhone 13.
Battery
Oppo A58 5G will carry a battery of 4,880mAh that’s accompanied by 33W fast charging support. That’s not bad at all. On the other hand, the iPhone 14 sports a 3,279mAh battery that features fast charging as well.
Price
The price for Oppo A58 5G is pretty low, considering the phone’s capabilities. About $200-$250 for a phone having a secondary camera sensor of 108MP surely is a great deal. On the other hand, you’ll have to pay more than double if you want to get your hands on the iPhone 14: $579.
Conclusions
Oppo A58 5G is nowhere near the iPhone 14, except for the camera area, where things can prove to be in favor of the former. But there’s still time to wait until we can know for sure!
If you want to buy a decent and cheap device, Oppo A58 5G can be the phone you are looking for. It’s certainly more powerful than you would expect from a phone that’s worth only 200 to 250 bucks. But Oppo is well-known for offering affordable and powerful smartphones, and it’s nice to see that the Chinese firm wants to maintain that recipe. Therefore, you might consider buying the Oppo A58 5G if you don’t have very high expectations from a smartphone.
