OnePlus is once again under the spotlight with new powerful gadgets. The Chinese brand’s CE 2 5G phone was announced earlier this year, and it fully deserves its price of about 300 euros if we take a look at the specs. The device features a Dimensity 900 processor, a 64MB main camera, and more.
OnePlus Nord CE 2 5G was also capable of only OxygenOS 11.3, that’s based on Android 11. But not anymore, as the device is now receiving its update to OxygenOS 12 Open Beta 1, that’s based on Android 12, according to the OnePlus Community.
What’s new in OxygenOS 12 Open Beta 1
In a nutshell, OxygenOS 12 Open Beta 1 brings a series of new features and a new UI. There’s even a dark mode available, which we all have to admit is extremely needed nowadays. There are even three adjustable levels of the dark mode to make it more efficient.
Textures and icons were improved with a more modern visual overhaul. The face recognition was improved as well. Continuing to speak about the system improvements, we also have to mention that the AI System Booster has been updated as well to provide a more smooth functionality even under tough conditions.
The full list of improvements is even larger, but we believe we’ve covered most of the essential part. Feel free to learn more about the update via the OnePlus Community!
OnePlus is also preparing for the release of the OnePlus 10T model that’s expected to land at some point this month, and the spec sheet reveals that we’re talking about a flagship. The gadget will be sporting either one of two versions of RAM (8GB and 12GB), a 4,800mAh battery, and a Snapdragon 8+ processor, just to mention the highlights.
If the update to the OxygenOS 12 Open Beta 1 is not available for your OnePlus Nord CE 2 phone yet, all you need to do is simply have some patience and keep your gadget’s WiFi turned on.
