The famous Pac-Man series will be back in business once again in 2022 with a remake for a PS1 game. Known as Pac-Man World Re-Pac, the new title will offer an enhanced experience for the players. The usual pattern of collecting dots through a maze as you run away from ghosts will be a bit modified, making the game a lot more immersive.
We found out in June that Pac-Man World Re-Pac is coming to PC and consoles, and now we can get hold of the official opening movie of the game. It shows the famous ghosts as they are discussing about the powerful Pac-Man, among other aspects.
Feel free to watch the opening movie below:
If you’re already excited about Pac-Man World Re-Pac, we have other great news for you: the remake will launch soon.
Launch Date: August 26
There are a bit more than two weeks to wait for the new Pac-Man title to come out. The remake version will bring plenty of new exciting stuff compared to the previous game, and we’re sharing a graphics comparison trailer to prove it:
The graphics are obviously highly superior to those for the PS1 game that came out back in 1999. Some would say that those pixelated graphics are the charm itself of the game, but they are always free to head back for the 23-year-old title and play it.
As we already know, Pac-Man World Re-Pac will be available for all modern and popular consoles: PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X and S, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch. Those who prefer their gaming on a PC weren’t left aside by the developers as well, as the upcoming title will also be playable on those rigs that are suitable. However, we’re expecting that most PC’s are capable enough to run the new Pac-Man title.
