PC Game Pass has been updated with the addition of six games published by Bethesda, some of which are re-releases of older entries in popular series such as Elder Scrolls, Wolfenstein, and Quake. As of the 18th of August, the next six games are now accessible to users of PC Game Pass:
- An Elder Scrolls Legend: Battlespire
- Quake 4
- Quake Champions
- Return To Castle Wolfenstein
- The Elder Scrolls Adventures: Redguard
- Wolfenstein 3D
In addition, players that pay for the “Ultimate” tier of the Xbox Game Pass membership will have access to all of the available champions in the “Quake Champions” game. Redguard and Battlespire were among the many older games that made their debut on Steam in April, along with a number of other games from the past. Even though Battlespire and Redguard were both released in 1997 and 1998, respectively, the addition of both games to PC Game Pass will provide Elder Scrolls fans with something to do while they wait for The Elder Scrolls 6.

In addition to the most recent enhancements that Bethesda has made to PC Game Pass, Xbox recently detailed what other content would be added to the subscription service this month. The games Coffee Talk, Immortality, and Immortals Fenyx Rising are among the highlights of the month of August. These games joined a number of other titles, such as Two Point Campus, that were introduced to Game Pass earlier during the month. As we go farther into the future, Xbox has been dropping some cryptic signals this week that seem to indicate that Hideo Kojima’s Death Stranding may be added on Game Pass at some point.
Skyrim sequel?
The sequel to Skyrim was hinted at for the first time in June 2018, but since then, there has been no further information provided. According to reports, The Elder Scrolls 6 is still in pre-production as of January 2022, which suggests that Bethesda’s next fantasy game is still a few years away at this point. It was stated on the LinkedIn page of a Bethesda employee at the time that Starfield was the only game that was currently in full production at the company. However, it is currently unknown whether or not the postponement of Starfield until 2023 will affect the production schedule for The Elder Scrolls 6.
