The Pixel Tablet will go on sale in Japan on June 20th, according to an early Amazon listing. The news is definitely exciting, considering that’s actually in a couple of months, and the US can also witness an official release then! Now, the listing has been taken down, sadly, but thanks to Reddit, we can take a sneak peek at the spec sheet. So, let’s delve into more details on the Pixel tablet!
The Pixel Tablet was briefly listed on Amazon Japan, as seen in a screenshot (found on Reddit). Information on the expected release date and two photos of the Pixel tablet in the colors Porcelain and Hazel have been revealed. Take a look below:
Based on the listing, the 10.95-inch, 2560 x 1600 LCD screen on the Pixel Tablet has a brightness of 500 nits. According to the FCC, the Pixel Tablet also has Bluetooth 5.2, Ultrawide Band (UWB), three microphones, a “quad speaker,” an 8MP front and back camera, and Bluetooth 5.2.
Back in April, rumors had it that the Pixel Tablet would somehow cost between $657 and $711, which is the price for 128GB of (UFS 3.1) storage. A”27 Wh built-in battery” was also tipped along with “up to 12 hours of video streaming,” which is definitely the best-case scenario for a tablet! Quite impressive, isn’t it?!
Before the listing was taken down, a few Twitter users and one local website were actually able to get more intel about the listing, and the best thing is that it confirmed that the 8GB (LPDDR5) of RAM on the Tensor G2 would be included. And speaking of storage options, the 256GB was the other choice so we can expect two versions of the Pixel Tablet.
