Pokemon Sword and Shield’s recent update adds Sun Stones, making the process of evolving for Pokemon even more enjoyable. But where can we find all the Pokemon that use the Sun Stones?
Sun Stones can evolve just five Pokemon. So, finding the right Pokemon might become a tough challenge.Â
However, the following tips and tricks will help you finish the task and evolve one of the best Pokemon out there.
Here are all Pokemon that you can evolve with the Sun Stone.
Evolve Cottonee to Whimsicott
Cottonee is part Grass and part Fairy-type Pokemon. Luckily, this Pokemon has no over-world spawns, with a spawn rate of 40 %.
You can find Cottonee only in the tall grass, in the Stony Wilderness. The Pokemon are between levels 27 and 29.
Evolve Helioptile to Heliolisk
Helioptile is an Electric and Normal-type Pokemon (a unique combination). Its design is based on a lizard, and we know how much these creatures love the sun!
You can find a Helioptile only in two spots in Galar. It has a spawn rate of 29 % at Route 6 during any weather and 40 % at the Giant’s Mirror during thunderstorms.
Evolve Gloom to Bellossom
Gloom is a Grass and Poison-type Pokemon with two different final evolution forms: Bellossom and Vileplume.
The Pokemon spawns in the over-world at the Giant’s Cap, North Lake Miloch, and Giant’s Mirror. But, Gloom can hide, too, in the grass at Axew’s Eye when it is cloudy.
However, Gloom spawns a lot at the third area of Giant’s Cap during a thunderstorm.Â
Petilil to Lilligant
Petilil is a Grass-type Pokemon and has just an evolution stage. If you have the Isle of Armor expansion, you can catch Petilil on Honeycalm Island, in the tall grass and over-world, too.
Sunkern to Sunflora
Sunkern is a Grass-type Pokemon with the lowest base HP and lowest overall base status. So, you have to evolve it to Sunflora as soon as possible.
