Ex-wife Sheree Zampino of Will Smith and businesswoman Sanela Diana Jenkins joined the cast of Real Housewives of Beverly Hills for Season 12 last month. British businessman and ex-spouse of Ms. Jenkins Roger Jenkins. He is worth around $80 million.
Jenkins’ wealth is minuscule compared to that of his ex-wife Diana, who is worth an estimated $300 million. Diana came out relatively well in her 2011 divorce from Jenkins. She may have accumulated part of her riches via her own business ventures, such as the Melissa Odabash swimsuit line and the health drink brand Neuro Drinks.
While working as a banker at Barclays, Jenkins met and eventually married Diana, a Bosnian refugee. After being together for ten years, they had two children. The pair announced their divorce in 2009, but didn’t really file until 2011.
Between the years of 1994 and 2009, Jenkins was employed for Barclays. Apparently, he was formerly one of the highest-paid bankers in London. In 2005, he reportedly made close to $100 million in earnings, as reported by The Telegraph.
Jenkins said that his wife Diana was the driving force behind his achievement. She was instrumental in securing billions of dollars in investments from the Qatari royal family in Barclays Bank amid the 2008 global financial crisis. Jenkins continued to work for Barclays as a consultant even after he left the company in 2011. Elkstone, an independent consulting business, was also founded by him.
He started working at BTG Pactual, a Brazilian investment firm, in 2011. Jenkins was a top athlete before he decided to pursue a career in business. Between the years 1973 and 1978, he was an international sprinting competitor. Roger was second in the 400-meter sprint at the 1975 World Student Games in Rome, earning him a silver medal. His and his brother David’s sporting careers are detailed in Peter Hoffmann’s 2017 book, A Life in a Day in a Year.
