Realme has been rumored to release the Realme Race smartphone for quite a while now. The handset is expected to arrive as the first premium device by the company this year.
Many reports have shared some of the smartphone’s specs. However, a new leak comes in handy, tipping most of the handset’s hardware and more.
Here is what you need to know.
Realme Race Possible Specs and Features: What to Expect
Thanks to popular tipster Ice Universe, some of the specs and features of Realme Race have been revealed.
Performance and software details
Under the hood, the upcoming Realme Race is said to get its power from a Qualcomm processor, the Snapdragon 888 SoC. Previously, the company has teased the same chipset.
The processor will most likely be paired with 12GB RAM. The storage capacity is still unknown, but we should expect the same options released in previous models.Â
Realme Race will ship with Android 10 OS out-of-the-box.
Battery capacity
A battery of 5,000mAh with up to 125W fast charging support is said to keep the lights on for many hours. The smartphone will fully charge in only a couple of minutes.
Camera skills
Coming to camera capabilities, the Realme Race will flaunt a 64MP quad-rear shooter module, including some decent sensors and lens. The company confirmed this information.
Other reports and leaks
According to previous reports, Realme might release different versions of the Realme Race. For instance, the teaser published by Realme’s VP, Xi Qi Chase, tipped the Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 SoC on the standard variant.Â
That means the Realme Race and Race Pro could be the same, arriving with only a few differences in the hardware segment.
More details on the specs will likely emerge in the coming weeks. The company is expected as well to launch the new Realme Race series any time now.Â
Until official details, however, it is better if we take everything with a pinch of salt.
