Bethesda and Arkane are clearly not raining on the parade of those who are waiting for the release of the ‘Redfall’ open-world game. The upcoming co-op FPS adventure game is only days away before its launch, which is scheduled on May 2.
Arkane has revealed the system specifications for those who are willing to play Redfall on their PC. You might consider that the devs are pulling your leg when it comes to the minimum system requirements, which are pretty decent for a high-end game.
Redfall demands 100GB of storage space
Regardless of how you want to play Redfall, whether it’s on the minimum, recommended, or ultra specs, you need to have at least 100GB available space on your storage drive. If you want to run the game on the recommended specs, as most people will, it means that you will need 16GB of RAM, a CPU such as an Intel Core i7 or AMD Ryzen 7, and a graphics card that’s at least as good as AMD 5700, NVIDIA RTX 2080, or Intel ARC.
Playing Redfall on the ‘ultra specs,’ on the other hand, is for those gamers who want the absolute best of what the game has to offer when it comes to graphics. If you’re among these folks, you’ll need a gaming rig that has 32GB of RAM, a GPU such as NVIDIA RTX 3080 or AMD RX 6800 XT that reaches 10GB of VRAM, and a CPU like the Intel Core i7 or the AMD Ryzen 7.

Here’s a description of the upcoming Redfall game, courtesy of its official Steam page:
The island town of Redfall, Massachusetts, is under siege by a legion of vampires who have blocked out the sun and cut the citizens off from the outside world. Explore the open world and immerse yourself in a deep story campaign as you unravel the mystery behind the vampires’ appearance. Ally with a handful of survivors against the creatures threatening to bleed the town dry.
Apart from its PC version, Redfall will also be available for Xbox Series X and Series S consoles.
