Who can possibly imagine life without a smartphone in your pocket these days? But if it’s one thing we all hate about these gadgets, that’s the fact that water is lethal for many of them. And since we have to use our phones very often, there are so many situations when we can get them in contact with water by mistake.

You might get caught by rain on your way to work, and you forgot your umbrella at home, for instance. Samsung aims to bring some solutions to such problems. And what better solutions could it possibly exist than to build more waterproof phones?

More waterproof Galaxy A phones built by Samsung in 2022

GSMArena.com reveals the ambitious plans of the South Korean giant for the next year that’s just around the corner: more waterproof phones equipped with resistance to water. They’ll be labeled under the Galaxy A mark, which is understandable. That’s a Samsung series that had some pretty impressive handsets. The famous brand will be applying membrane materials as well as waterproof silicone for achieving not only water resistance but also dust resistance.

Waterproof phones don’t represent anything new, indeed, but the world can sure use more of these handy gadgets. Furthermore, there are plenty of phone models under the Galaxy A series of Samsung that also have waterproof: we can only remember the A52 and A72 lineups.

Samsung’s future waterproof phones will also land in the mid-range category, which is another good news. Not everyone has the budget to spend on high-end devices just to benefit from resistance to water. In our view, this feature should be implemented by default on most smartphones.

We’re eager to see what Samsung’s future phones will be capable of! The company rarely disappoints, and waterproof phones are always needed!
