It would be fantastic if Samsung had separate Galaxy Z Flip 5 and Fold 5 launch events in the US and Canada, right? Well, don’t hold your breath because the tech giant is apparently full of surprises this year. For example, last week, Samsung announced that the next Galaxy Unpacked event would take place in South Korea in July.
However, a recent rumor from MySmartPrice caught our attention because it suggests that the tech giant would release multiple launch events around the US and Canada.
Although Samsung hasn’t confirmed the release date of the Galaxy Z Flip 5 and Galaxy Z Fold 5, rumors suggest that the next-generation foldable smartphones will be introduced on July 27. When exactly can we expect to see smartphones in the United States and Canada?
MySmartPrice claims that Samsung will unveil the Galaxy Z Flip 5 and Galaxy Z Fold 5 in Canada and the United States on August 11, 2023. Samsung often introduces new smartphones and smartwatches around this time of year. So yet, no more information regarding these occurrences has been made public.
In the meantime, let’s check out one of the biggest features expected for Galaxy Z Flip 5 and Fold 5.
A new hinge mechanism and Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 CPU will be used in the Galaxy Z Flip 5 and Galaxy Z Fold 5. It’s also believed that the new camera and screen features would make quite an impression. What do you want to see in the new Galaxy Z series?
We also have good news on the other gadgets Samsung will introduce at the Galaxy Unpacked event. For instance, the Galaxy Watch 6 series will carry over many of the same functions as the 5 series.
Finally, the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 CPU, 120Hz OLED displays, and IP67 ratings will all be standard in the Galaxy Tab S9 series, while the Exynos W980 processor, which some of us have been hoping for, will power the next generation of smartwatches.
