Samsung doesn’t seem to be willing to stop anytime soon when it comes to pushing the Android 13-based One UI 5.0 update to its phones. It’s great to see that the Galaxy A-series keeps getting plenty of love from the South Korean giant. After the Galaxy A53 model received the update recently, meaning one of the most popular midrange phones built by Samsung, it’s now time for the company to follow suit in the case of its Galaxy A22 and A23 models.
SAMMOBILE brings the news regarding the new Android 13-based One UI 5.0 update for both the Galaxy A22 and Galaxy A23 LTE models of Samsung. Users of the two phones will now get to use all the benefits offered by the latest version of Google’s operating system for mobile devices.
Samsung Galaxy A22 Gets the firmware version A225FXXU3CVK3
A225FXXU3CVK3 is the firmware version of the update that lands on Galaxy A22 devices. Only European users are benefitting from it at the moment, meaning people who live in Albania, Austria, Bulgaria, Croatia, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Italy, Macedonia, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Serbia, Slovakia, Slovenia, Southeast Europe, Spain, Switzerland, the Baltic region, the Czech Republic, and also the Nordic region.
The October 2022 security patch is also included in the new Android 13-based One UI 5.0 update for Samsung Galaxy A22.
To install the new update, in case you’re eligible for it, all you have to do is head over to Settings » Software update and tap Download and install.
Both 5G and LTE variants of the Galaxy A23 get the new One UI 5.0 update
The software updates for the 5G and LTE variants of the Samsung Galaxy A23 come with the software versions A235FXXU1BVK8 and A236BXXU2BVK7. Only Europeans are getting these updates for A23 at the moment as well.
If you want to get your hands on the updates in question for Samsung Galaxy A23, you need to look for them in the Settings » Software update menu.
