Nobody would deny that Samsung Galaxy S22 is a massive powerhouse. But even so, there’s always room for more when it comes to smartphones. Samsung should release the upcoming Galaxy S23 lineup in 2023, and we already have strong reasons to be excited.
Apple’s new iPhone 14, which came out back in September, introduced satellite connectivity, and it wasn’t long until other manufacturers took inspiration. According to NextPit, Samsung itself announced its plans to implement satellite connectivity on its smartphones, which gives us a lot of hope that we’ll be seeing the feature on the next flagship lineup of the South Korean giant.
Three months more to wait
Samsung should release its upcoming Galaxy S23 lineup in early 2023 – in February, to be more precise. This means that it won’t be long until we find out for sure what the Samsung Galaxy S23 will be capable of.
Samsung has already been testing satellite connectivity on its smartphones for several years, and surely it’s a bit weird why the company hasn’t implemented the feature already.
The new iPhone 14 and iPhone 14 Pro models allow the user to use Emergency SOS with the help of a satellite to contact emergency services even if there is no cellular coverage. The feature can indeed be life-saving, literally speaking.
iPhone 14 also introduced the Dynamic Island feature, one that hasn’t been seen before on other smartphones. We can surely expect it to be implemented on other devices as well in the near future.
Considering the undeniable powers of the Galaxy S22 lineup, whether we’re talking about the standard S22, the S22 Plus, or the S22 Ultra, it would be absurd for the upcoming S23 series to be anywhere beneath its predecessors. An even better processor and more improved cameras would certainly represent nice additions to the Galaxy S23 series, but only time will tell for sure.
