Samsung Galaxy S23 is only a few days old since it was unveiled by the South Korean giant during the Galaxy Unpacked event, and it’s already amazed a lot of people.
The Galaxy S23 Ultra has been making waves in the tech world, and for a good reason. While its new 200 MP camera is certainly a major draw for many, it’s not the only feature that sets this flagship apart. The Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 and Samsung’s optimization have allowed for increased efficiency and improved battery life, making the device a top choice for those who value performance and reliability.
The battery of Samsung Galaxy S23 is comparable to iPhone 14 and iPhone 13
Notebookcheck has spotted battery tests for the new Samsung Galaxy S23 done by Tech Droider, and they reveal that the phone is comparable by this criterion to both the iPhone 14 and the iPhone 13 devices.
The Galaxy S23 Ultra, while impressive, was unable to surpass the iPhone 14 Pro Max in terms of battery performance. In the test, which involved a combination of gaming, video playback, Instagram use, and video recording, the S23 Ultra clocked in at 11 hours and 15 minutes, falling just 10 minutes short of the iPhone 14 Pro Max’s 11 hours and 25 minutes. Despite this result, the Galaxy S23 Ultra still emerges as the top-performing Android device in the test, earning recognition for its exceptional battery life.
Battery tests conducted by various outlets have been nothing short of impressive, with the S23 Ultra consistently delivering impressive results. Overall, the Galaxy S23 Ultra is a device that truly delivers on all fronts. It features more advanced cameras, more durability, and a better processor compared to the previous Samsung Galaxy S22 models. Samsung has relied on the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor for the Galaxy S23 series, which surprised many of those who were expecting to see another Exynos chipset.
