Following the recent debut of the new-look Galaxy Watch 5, reputable leaker Evan Blass has returned with yet another set of images that seem to be officially sanctioned by Samsung. The Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 4 is the star of the show this time around.
The Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 4 is seen in a photo uploaded by 91mobiles.
This device seems to be almost similar to the Galaxy Z Flip 3 in Lavender Purple at first sight. When compared to the present model, the new version does include a few noteworthy modifications. It’s possible that some of these are really surface-level concerns. It’s easier to see the antenna grooves since they’re darker, while the buttons are more prominent.
However, there are a few indications that things may get better. Just by looking at it, you can see that the camera has been beefed up inside, which translates to higher overall image quality. It also seems to have a slimmer hinge mechanism. The leaker Ice Universe stated back in June that this may be an optical illusion, and Blass observes that this could be an optical illusion as well.
A less tapered appearance is the final outcome of the new, more angular style. However, it’s possible that Samsung is planning to provide a 400mAh bigger battery this time around for reasons other than aesthetics. Other rumors have indicated that the new Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 Plus chipset from Qualcomm would provide a considerable performance boost, as well as a less noticeable crease.
A Samsung Unpacked event will be held next month, Blass says, but doesn’t specify a specific date. In an interview with The Verge, leaker Jon Prosser predicted that the iPhone 6 will be officially unveiled on August 10 and that it would be available to early adopters on August 26. Even if you’re not interested in foldables, Samsung is anticipated to announce two new Galaxy Watches as well as the Galaxy Buds Pro 2 at the same time as the Galaxy Z Flip 4 and Z Fold 4.
