It’s easy to accuse a company that it’s throwing caution to the wind when bringing a completely different design for its smartphones, but that certainly won’t be the case for Samsung. The South Korean behemoth is preparing to release new ‘foldables’ on the market: the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 5 and Galaxy Z Flip 5.
Samsung already has an interesting career when it comes to building foldable smartphones, and the trend will certainly continue. It all started back in 2019 when pretty much nobody knew about foldable phones. Many had accused Samsung of being under the weather when they first came up with the first foldable device, but meanwhile, the newer ‘foldables’ of the company are significantly superior.
Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 5 and Flip 5 batteries will be easy to replace
NextPit has spotted on SafetyKorea via GalaxyClub that Samsung will apply a similar strategy for its next foldables as it did with the latest Galaxy S23 flagship series: the batteries of the devices will be easy to replace due to a pull strip or tab.
The decision seems to be part of a new policy that aims to allow users to repair their devices rather than throwing them and buying new ones. If the information is true, both the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 5 and the Galaxy Z Flip 5 will share the same dual-battery design that will be divided into two blocks and also, individually located on each of the folding sides.
Can anybody twist Samsung’s arm in order to make the company create the best foldable smartphones in history? Probably not, but it’s surely worth waiting to see what Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 5 and Z Flip 5 will be capable of.
The previous Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 4 and Galaxy Z Flip 4 could easily be considered ‘game changers,’ as they are easily the South Korean tech giant’s best foldable devices.
