You might have been pretty impressed by what the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 5 was capable of when it came out last year in August. That’s because that foldable beauty runs on the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor while it also features a powerful 8K video recording camera, just to say the least.
The upcoming Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 6, which is expected to launch this summer, will most probably be capable of even more impressive specs and features. It’s certainly reasonable to expect even better cameras, a faster processor, as well as more RAM power for opening those internet tabs. Since we’re talking about a foldable phone, one of the main reasons to buy such a device is for navigating the internet with it.
Galaxy Z Fold 6 with no S Pen might get canceled
A new report coming from TheElec sheds light on the launch of the Galaxy Z Fold 6. If the information is true, Samsung will cancel the release of the version of the phone that doesn’t support the S Pen. This means that the cheaper and thinner version of the future phone is the one in question.
It has also been revealed that Samsung has finished testing the Galaxy Z Fold 6. However, we can expect the mass production of the phone’s components to kick off at some point by the end of the current month.
It seems that the latest foldable phones from Samsung are doing quite well, as sales for the Galaxy Fold 5 and Flip 5 models are up 10% compared to how well the predecessors Galaxy Z Fold 4 and Flip 4 were selling. This can only mean that we can expect the upcoming Galaxy Z Fold 6 to have quite the same success, if not even better.
