It’s been like almost yesterday when Sniper Elite 4 came out. Launching in 2017, the game was rapidly recognized as the best tactical stealth shooter of its series. Karl Fairburne was once again grabbing his deadly sniper to teach his opponents a lesson they won’t forget. The action was returning to Europe, Italy after the predecessor Sniper Elite 3 was focusing on North Africa.
Sniper Elite 5 will remain in Europe, setting the stages for new and unforgettable confrontations in France. As expected, the Nazis are once again those who need to be dealt with, and there’s no room for any compromises.
Sniper Elite 5 launches on May 26, 2022
The developers from Rebellion are proud to reveal the release date and a new trailer for the upcoming game:
Although there are still two months more to wait until Sniper Elite 5 arrives, you already have the option to pre-order the game from its website.
Here’s a part of Rebellion’s description:
Pre-order Sniper Elite 5 and you will receive the latest mission of the much-heralded ‘Target Führer’ campaign entitled “Wolf Mountain”. You will get to infiltrate the Berghof, Hitler’s private mountain retreat in the Bavarian Alps, which is crawling with heavily armed personal guard, and a slew of collectibles for eagle-eyed snipers.
The official Steam page of Sniper Elite 5 even published the minimum system requirements of the game, and they are indeed pretty demanding! Therefore, if you’re willing to play the game on a PC, you’ll need a minimum of a DirectX12 capable GPU that packs 4GB of VRAM, 8GB of RAM, and 85GB of free storage space, just to say the least. We’re expecting more info on this area soon enough!
Sniper Elite 5 will be available for PC and the usual consoles (Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, PlayStation 4, and PlayStation 5). You’ll get to also access it via Steam, Microsoft Store, Epic Games, and Game Pass.
