If you’ve missed Agent 47 and his deadly and sneaky moves, you should know that there’s a new game in town that features the famous assassin. It’s not Hitman 4, as we’re sure that most of you were hoping for after the huge success of the 2021 title Hitman 3.
According to ComicBook.com, the new game in question is Hitman Sniper: The Shadows, and it’s out and available to play. The story of the new game is entirely different from anything the fans might have expected, which makes the release even more interesting.
‘Hitman Sniper: The Shadows’ is FREE for smartphones
The new Hitman game is available exclusively for smartphones, but there’s no reason to believe that it won’t change soon.
Simon Doongoor, who’s the Senior Producer of the game, explained as quoted by the source mentioned above:
From the onset, our ambition was to deliver a high production value Hitman Sniper experience on mobile in terms of quality graphics, and gameplay,
We wanted this game to be the start of something new rather than a sequel. This vision freed us to move in a different direction, such as introducing The Shadows, and allowed us to create a deeper game experience for players.
‘The Shadows’ refers to a team of highly-skilled snipers. Your goal in the game is to become one of them as you enter the world of assassination. You’ll also have to “Embark on globetrotting assignments, eliminate targets with stealth and creativity, engage in fierce competition, and build your reputation as the International Contract Agency (ICA) Elite Agents!”
It’s great to see that the Hitman series hasn’t been forgotten. Hitman 3, the game released last year in January, can be purchased from Steam at just 59.99 euros for its Standard Edition. The Deluxe Edition costs 30 bucks more, while the Hitman Trilogy ( the basic Hitman 3 game, along with Access Pass DLC for Hitman 1 and Hitman 2) costs 99.99 euros.
