Daisy Ridley, one of the most popular stars of the Star Wars sequel trilogy, said yes to another Star Wars movie that takes place after Rise of Skywalker. Fans are thrilled with such news and are waiting for the new movie! The next movie is a Sharmeen Obaid-Chinoy-directed movie, and it was announced at the Star Wars Celebration. According to the first details available, the new movie would take place 15 years after the events of Rise of Skywalker, and it’ll feature the incredibly talented Ridley as the Jedi Master. Ridley will be the one to revive the Jedi Order.
The actor was really impressed by the role and said:
My heart is pounding […]; I’m very thrilled to be continuing this journey.

Rey’s character has received a lot less attention since Ridley’s final appearance in the 2019 film Rise of Skywalker, with just a few of the stories in the Star Wars canon expanding on her tale. So, it’s definitely time for a change, right?! As for the future of the Star Wars franchise, it has already been announced that three movies have entered production, two of which are from James Mangold and executive producer of The Mandalorian Dave Filoni. That’s impressive!

Daisy Ridley also starred as the main character in the beautiful love drama Ophelia made an intriguing appearance in the mystery thriller Murder on the Orient Express. She sometimes even lent her voice to animated, live-action movies like Peter Rabbit.
