According to The Wall Street Journal, Netflix is reportedly in discussions to live stream its first-ever sporting event, which will be a celebrity golf tournament comprising professional golfers and drivers from Formula One racing cars.

Since more than a year ago, Netflix has been exploring different things while investigating the possibility of live sports streaming. That’s probably the biggest reason why we’re discussing golf at the moment.
Netflix has also previously competed against ESPN for the live-streaming rights to Formula 1, but it was allegedly unsuccessful. That’s quite tough! Therefore, it shouldn’t come as a surprise that there will soon be golf tournament sessions that will feature some celebrities from both golf and F1.
