Superman is finally here! Fortnite fans are thrilled that the most iconic DC superhero has arrived on the island.
Teased for months, the Superman skin is now available, and the best part is that there are actually two skins. The Man of Steel also features a Shadow sleek variant in the game that would look fantastic in your collection!
We’ve compiled a list of everything you need to know, including how to unlock Superman and what Shadow Superman is.
Unlock Superman in Fortnite Now: Tips & Tricks
Superman arrived earlier than expected, on August 10 at 10 AM EST/ 3 PM BST.
Players need to complete various NPC tasks to collect the cosmetic packs together. Some of the challenges, though, are really intriguing.
There are a total of 10 challenges, and completing them will grant players access to the early stages of Superman’s cosmetics. Luckily, we’ve got you covered!
Remember that you’ll first need to find a way to unlock Clark Kent.
Here are the quests:
- Use a Launchpad – Armoured Batman;
- Fly a Saucer – Armoured Batman;
- Visit 3 Different Named Locations – Clark Kent;
- Defeat Aliens – Beast Boy, Armoured Batman, Clark Kent;
- Visit an Alien Biome or the Mothership – Clark Kent;
- Take damage from a player and survive – Beast Boy;
- Reach speed 99 in a vehicle – Beast Boy
As you can notice, there are various DC alumni, including Beast Boy of the Teen Titans, located in Weeping Woods, the bold Armoured Batman, situated at Dirty Docks, and none other than Clark Kent, located at The Orchard.
Rewards
- Call to Action Emoticon (first reward);
- Shield Spray (completing 3 NPC quests).
Clark Kent will be available after you complete 5 quests. The next challenges will be from Kal-El’s alter ego, Clark Kent, where you’ll have to equip it to complete:
- Use a Phone Booth as Clark Kent (1) – Superman’s ape Back Bling, Secret Identity Emote, and the Clark Kent outfit;
- Complete Epic Quests (78) – Solitude Striker Pickaxe;
- Complete Epic Quests (63) – Kal-El’s Cape Back Bling;
- Glide through rings as Clark Kent (5) – The Daily Planet Back Bling;
- Complete Epic Quests (68) – Banner icon;
- Complete Epic Quests (73) – The Last Son of Krypton Loading Screen.
How to Get the Shadow Superman?
The Shadow Superman skin won’t come with extra features and benefits, but it’ll sure look amazing in your collection. To win this legendary costume, you’ll have to:
- Complete Epic Quests (84) – Clark Kent (Shadow), The Daily Planet (The Late Edition) Back Bling, Kal-El’s Cape (Shadow) Back Bling, and Superman’s Cape (Shadow) Back Bling.
