SZA.’s new album was released on Friday, December 9, and is titled S.O.S. The second album was anticipated since her fantastic debut album Ctrl was released. The artist first announced it would be another album at the 2022 Grammy Awards when she won with Doja Cat.

The singer twitted her frustration about Terrence Punch Henderson, the president of T.D.E., but the post was deleted.

On November 2022, SZA. revealed the cover of the album S.O.S. The cover includes the singer wearing a baseball jersey as she looks out on a springboard. The singer imitated the infamous paparazzi picture of Princess Diana on a yacht for the cover.
