Tesla Software received another update, and the release notes reveal all the new additions. Let’s take a look together:
- To maximize the effectiveness of charging and on-route battery preconditioning, the thermal system controls have been fine-tuned for each charging station’s power output during DC fast charging. As a result, the charging process is accelerated, and expenditures for maintaining the battery are minimized.
- The daytime running lights and the taillights will both come on when the driver activates the “auto” setting.
- Use Megaphone to amplify your voice and address a large group with confidence, or transform your parked car into a boombox to play music for a crowd.
- With this version, Tesla has included a few extra help tips. Different vehicle statuses will activate these suggestions. When you park your car, for instance, a helpful tip about the Light Show appears. When you turn on Supercharging, helpful hints like the Tesla Arcade and Streaming feature appear.
- By simultaneously engaging Dog Mode and Sentry Mode, you can ensure the safety of both your vehicle and your dogs. When both Dog Mode and Sentry Mode are active, the latter’s alerts are muted. The sending of notifications and the recording of footage will continue as normal via the mobile app.
- When available, the updated Supercharger map popup will now show site occupancy data in addition to charging fees. Simply tapping on a Supercharger pin in your area will reveal the relevant information.
- Use the Tesla app to have a look around where you left your car to make sure it’s safe to return to it. Tesla is unable to access data from the Live Camera since it is encrypted end-to-end. Controls > Safety > “View Live Camera through Mobile App” can be toggled on and off from the touchscreen interface. This service only works with Premium Internet. You shouldn’t use this function to snoop on people’s private websites or record conversations with strangers. To use the live camera means you accept full responsibility for any legal action taken against you.
- Hebrew language support has been added to the voice navigation system. Changing the language may be done by going to Settings, then Display, and finally Voice Navigation Language.
- The addition of radio station logos to the Media Player makes it easier to locate desired stations throughout the search process.
- When regenerative braking is ineffective owing to high battery temperature or low battery charge, your car can switch to standard braking automatically for continuous deceleration. Select “Apply Brakes When Regenerative Braking Is Limited” from the “Controls” menu, then “Pedals & Steering.”
- For best results after rotating, swapping, or replacing tires, it is recommended to immediately reset the stored tire settings. Tires are reset by going to Settings > Service > Wheel & Tire Configuration > Tires.
