If you’re also one of those Skyrim fans who have been complaining about the quality of water textures in the game, we have good news for you: there’s a new mod coming from wSkeever/Nexus Mods that solves the problem. In other words, the way the water of the game’s volcanic mineral pools appears has been improved significantly.

Known as “Real Water for Volcanic Mineral Pools”, the new mod replaces the old tetures and even comes with customizable options, according to ScreenRant.

Two options for the water color

The Skyrim players now even have the chance to choose the color they want for the water, due to the new mod in question. He can choose either the custom or the in-game version, as well as two variations when it comes to transparency (more or less transparency).

The new mod that improves the water textures for Skyrim shouldn’t surprise anyone. That’s because the modding scene for this game is insanely active. Many of those passionate about the game have added a lot of stuff, from graphic overhauls and new quests to making dragons become Thomas the Tank Engine.

Skyrim remains just like a good wine – the older it becomes, the better. That’s because we are talking about a massive hit game thanks to its vast open world, deep lore, the freedom to do pretty much anything, and, of course, the modding community.  Despite being 14 years old, The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim is still popular today.

Surprisingly or not, the new mod is already pretty popular among the Skyrim fans, who have downloaded it about 5,300 times via Nexus Mods.
