Super Mario: a history of 4 decades
When we say ‘Super Mario, ‘ the first thing that comes to mind is one of those numerous pixelated video games where the character appears as driving a kart, jumping over obstacles, playing golf, and so on. Mario was first introduced in video games, and the character’s first appearance happened way back in 1983 due to a game simply called ‘Mario Bros.’ and running as an arcade platformer.
Two years later, the first Mario game for the 8-bit console Nintendo Entertainment System (NES) was released, which was known as ‘The Super Mario Bros.’ Until this day, the iconic Super Mario game character appeared in more than 200 video games for pretty much all platforms you can imagine.
