Bandai Namco characterizes the Tamaverse as “the metaverse of the Tamagotchi world” in a press release, and the newest Tamagotchi gadget, the Tamagotchi Uni, can totally say yes to that. It’s also a great walk to remember. Most of us will enjoy it, while others will experience it for the first time. For parents, the Tamagotchi Uni could be the perfect gift for their little ones.
What are your thoughts about the new Tamagotchi Uni and the brand-new approach?
According to Tara Badie, senior director of brand development for Bandai Namco’s toys and collectibles America business, the Tamagotchi Uni can connect to Wi-Fi so that we may link it up with other Tamagotchis from across the world. Quite impressive, isn’t it?! It’s also a bit similar to Niantic’s Pokemon Go. However, unlike Meta’s Horizon Worlds or any other available social “playground,” there is no direct communication between participants.
Preorders of Tamagotchi Uni may be placed on Amazon beginning on Tuesday. The big official release date is July 15th.
