The launch of the Dragon Ball Super: Super Hero movie has been delayed because of a hack of the Toei Animation studio. Many fans were eager to learn about a new release date. Initially, the movie was set to come out in late April.

The upcoming Dragon Ball movie will present things a little different from what most of the fans are expecting. Goku and Vegeta won’t be under the spotlight anymore, leaving room for the other Z warriors to prove what they’re made of. This time, it will be mainly up to Gohan and Piccolo to take down the new foes, meaning a new set of powerful androids created by the Red Ribbon Army. Those androids’ names are Gamma 1 and Gamma 2, and they’ll be light-years stronger than the previous androids created by the same organization back in the day of the Dragon Ball Z anime.

Dragon Ball Super: Super Hero should come out this summer

New information is confirming that the release window for the upcoming Dragon Ball movie will be set for this summer, which sounds great for most of the fans. However, it could still mean about a month more to wait for the launch, compared to the initial April 22 launch date.

If Gohan is likely the hero of the new show, Piccolo will also be under the spotlight. There’s no wonder why, as the two fighters are best friends. Piccolo was Gohan’s first trainer back in the day when Goku’s son was just a child. The famous Namekian will now even have a new transformation, and the fans have been heavily debating about how it will look like and manifest. It’s likely to be called “Potential Unleashed,” and it will make Piccolo more powerful than ever.
