Does the map seem a bit strange to you? Do you have a tough time finding the best landing spots in Fortnite Chapter 2, Season 8?
Well, Season 8 has shaken things up a bit, and now we have a mix of new and old locations to visit on the Island. With the Cube theme and some crazy UFO crash sites, the Fortnite map is currently very different from what we’ve previously seen.

Here is what you need to know.
Believer Beach
Believer Beach, previously known as Sweaty Sands, is somehow less busy this season. The long-running location hides the most chest spawns of any POI on the Island!
Go to the tallest building right to the East of this POI and grab the best loot. After that, you can quickly get a vehicle and escape the Storm.
Or, you can choose the water for a great gateway route!
Misty Meadows
Misty Meadows is a classic location, and in Season 8, you can find a lot of loot there so that you can stock up on weapons and shield items nearby the lake.
TIP: choose this POI if you’re a beginner or a mid-level player.
The Sideways Zone
Another great location is the Sideways Zone, where you can find the best weapons so far, including the Sideways Minigun and the Sideways Rifle. Just make sure you won’t miss the massive orange sphere at the start of every match!
Dinky Dish (IO Base)
Dinky Dish is among the last IO Bases in Fortnite this season. Situated East of Craggy Cliffs, this location is home to many ammo boxes, regular chests, and three supply chests.
You can also deal a lot of damage at Turret Gun, which could really help you complete your challenges faster.
Stealthy Stronghold
Stealthy Stronghold is now an upgraded location on the Fortnite Season 8 map and by far the best! You can find a lot of loot, and the area has an IO Base (Deep Woods Dish) for different vehicles and pickings.
Other stuff includes launchpads, a slipstream, and plenty of vehicles!
