The release of Warzone 2 Season 3 is when we’ll finally get those mobility adjustments, as per the devs’ announcement in a Community Update. A lot of Call of Duty fans were disappointed to see Activision abandon the slide-cancel feature with the release of Warzone 2. The worst part? When Season 2 came sprinting was added, while plating divided fans because it prevented full-on sprinting in these conditions. Oh well, what can we do?!
Luckily, that’s about to change. For Call of Duty: Warzone gamers, getting improved movement mechanics has been a lengthy journey. So, pretty much everyone that’s into Warzone knows what this is about. Also, it hasn’t even been a full year since devoted players campaigned for enhancements to moves like mantling and slide canceling in the original Warzone. Warzone 2 Season 3 is about to be released, introducing what we really need.
As previously said, Warzone 2’s devs explained in a recent Community Update that they’d bring movement and traversal improvements at least. Read the statement below:
Movement will now feel more dynamic and fluid due in part to improvements to mantling over objects or through windows, with slight adjustments to sliding and diving responsiveness, and the addition of Redeploy Drones to better enable rotation opportunities.
The Warzone 2 Season 3 Community Update details the tempo and combat updates as well as mobility changes for the game. Quite impressive, isn’t it?! It is currently unknown how successfully a potential upgrade would solve long-standing customer issues.
It looks like developers have, at the very least, made the required preparations to address community input. You know what they say; it does matter if you care, at least. So, Activision Blizzard gets extra points for being understanding.
Finally, another great thing is that the devs actually shortened the interval between rings closing in the middle of the game to improve the tempo of the Battle Royale. How cool is that?! More Ammunition Caches and Purchase Stations have been dispersed to “help recover in the late-game,” among other adjustments.
Stay tuned for the Warzone 2 Season 3!
