If there’s one thing we all agree on when it comes to WhatsApp, it is that most people use the instant messaging app. That alone points to the exciting amount of useful features that WhatsApp has. But even so, as technology is permanently evolving, the demands of users go up as well.
WhatsApp is now preparing a significant visual overhaul that’s pointed towards the structure of the users’ profiles who have Business accounts, as WABetaInfo reveals. One of the changes is represented by the implementation of the possibility of adding a cover photo above the profile photo.
Wait for the future update
The new functionality will be available in a future update of WhatsApp, and there’s no indication at this point that standard accounts would benefit as well. However, we must not lose hope, as WhatsApp has proven over the years that it cares enough for its users. Since there are more than 2 billion users out there who have WhatsApp installed on their phones, the developers certainly don’t want to lose any of them and will take their requests into consideration as much as possible.
Along with the new update, those who have Business accounts will see a camera button added to the cover image area. Once they hit it, they’ll be able to take a photo or choose one from the phone’s memory to use as the cover photo.
If, by some chance, you’re still not using WhatsApp and you’re not aware of what it has to offer, feel free to check out the app’s description from Google Play:
