With Fast X racing into cinemas, there is a possibility for Fast and Furious 11, too. 

The Fast and Furious story has a long history, and the series kicked off in 2001 with the undercover cop movie The Fast and The Furious.

The movie succeeded, including Vin Diesel, Paul Walker, and Michelle Rodriguez. Also, the franchise kept evolving and motoring, transforming into a big-budget heist movie around the time of Fast Five and, more recently, going sci-fi as the series became ever more ridiculous.

Is There A Chance For Fast And Furious 11?

The director and the cast have already signed up for the next movie, so it will be the last one. Justin Lin was replaced in Fast X, and Louis Leterrier was recently announced as Fast and Furious 11 director. 

Here is what President Peter Cramer said:

Under his direction, Fast X is a high intensity thriller with all the spectacular action, emotion, and twists that the fans have come to expect.

What about Fast and Furious 12?

It was announced that the eleventh Fast movie would be the end of the film, but Vin Diesel’s comments on the red carpet believed that might not be the case. 

The actor who portrayed Dom Toretto said the franchise’s end would include a three-part finale.

 

This information is not confirmed yet, but if it’s true, it will continue with two more movies, including Fast and Furious 12, being on the way in the next few years. 

More Things About The Upcoming Movie

As we all know, Vin Diesel is the Fast and Furious mastermind, and he told Variety that he wants Robert Downey Jr. in the movie. In the meantime, Fast and Furious will hit screens in 2025.
